SH65: Tasting Whiskeys from Around the World

Alcohol is complicated. There are a ridiculous number of categories and tastes to figure out, but if you put a little bit of time and money in, you can start to appreciate the more subtle flavours and entertain friends with your worldly whiskey wisdom.

In this episode, the humans taste whiskey from five different countries (Canada, US, Ireland, Scotland, and Japan) to see how the flavours compare. Only mildly descending into a drunken stupor.

Please drink responsibly and with moderation.

Standard Humans is hosted by Aidan Dennehy and Evan.

Shownotes:

I’ve included links to medium size whiskey bottles in the links below. Some of the bottles we used were 200mL or less to save on cost. If you want to do a tasting of your own, I’d recommend starting with small bottles to taste and then getting larger ones of your favourites. Please drink responsibly and with moderation.
